Well… Overall, I wouldn’t say that this series is not unmissable. If you are fan of Sweet Magnolias series and expected something similar in this, it does not have the same flavor and you will be disappointed.
One advantage of this is that it keeps the series busy and you will not be bored once you are invested in the characters. Ignacio Serricchio, best known for his role in Lost In Space, will join as a series. With that it leaves the onus of understanding the series of events up to the viewer. According to Deadline, Netflix has announced four major cast additions for the upcoming season of Firefly Lane. The shuttling between timelines is very frequent, and many will find it difficult to track which year they are in right now. The series is good, but does not hook the viewer to the story for a considerable time. Friendship are made stronger when people lean on each other through their troubles and share their dreams and aspirations with each other – much different than what this era of social media does.
